Guests can get to Further Harrop Farm using the following directions.
Close to major motorway networks we are approximately 30 minute drive from the M60 if you’re travelling from the north or similar distance to M6 junction 17 if travelling from the south.
If you follow sat nav directions to postcode SK105UU this often takes you to the opposite side of our valley so you may be best setting the destination as Bakestonedale Road.
If entering from the Pott Shrigley end you follow BAKESTONEDALE ROAD to the very top for approximately 2 miles you’ll notice a yellow triangular sign indicating that the road is narrowing. As you approach the brow of a hill indicate right and turn into our driveway immediately before the hill.
If entering from the Kettleshulme or Macclesfield end, after turning off Macclesfield Road onto Bakestonedale Road in approximately 300 yds you’ll approach the brow of the hill where there’s a red triangular sign indicating no footpath. Immediately as you drop down on the other side is the entrance to our property on the left.
There is a stone wall set back with the name Further Harrop Farm. Drive over a cattle grid and continue down the tarmac lane for approx ½ mile. At the end of the drive is a fork, left for the Farmhouse and Cottages and right for the car parking.
WHEN UNLOADING PLEASE PULL UP OUTSIDE THE COTTAGES FOR EASE.
